JOIN US AT MAKESHIFT CRAFTS THIS SUMMER FOR AN AWESOME WEEK OF TIE DYE CAMP! THIS CAMP IS ALL ABOUT CRAFTING FOR A CAUSE!

Get ready to twist, swirl, and splash your way through a week of vibrant creativity! During Tie Dye Week, campers will experiment with a variety of dyeing techniques to create bold, colorful designs on t-shirts, socks, bandanas, tote bags, and more. 

By the end of the week, each child will go home with a collection of cheerful, one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories, plus the pride of giving back.

✨ Campers will also work together to create extra items to donate to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, spreading joy through handmade color.

👧 Who Can Attend
Kids ages 6 to 12 only (must be 6 by June 1, 2025—no exceptions)

Please send your child with:

  • A packed lunch

  • A nut-free snack

  • A refillable water bottle


📝 Camp Policies

By enrolling in Makeshift Crafts Kids Camp, you agree to the following:

  • Camp registration is non-transferable. Spots cannot be shared or gifted, including to siblings.

  • Camp hours are strictly 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We are unable to offer early drop-off or aftercare.

  • Late pick-ups after 2:00 PM will incur a fee of $10 per 15 minutes.

  • We are a NUT-FREE studio. Please do not send any snacks containing:
    peanuts, peanut butter, tree nuts (e.g., almonds, cashews, pistachios), Nutella, nut milks, or any nut products.


💵 Cancellation & Payment Policy

  • A $100 nonrefundable deposit is included in your camp payment.

  • Full payment is due 1 week before camp begins.

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the first day of camp may receive a refund (minus the deposit).

  • Cancellations made within 15 days of the camp start date are nonrefundable.

🎨 Tie Dye Techniques: Campers will learn different tie dye techniques such as spirals, stripes, crumples, and more to create colorful, wearable art. They will also learn how to dye on a variety of different items from tote bags to head bands and bandanas.

🎨 Customized Wardrobe: Under the guidance of friendly instructors, campers will also learn how to embellish their finished tie dyed pieces with simple embroidery and sew-on patches.

🌎 Crafting for a Cause: Campers will also tie dye extra shirts, sweatshirts, and socks to donate to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, learning the joy of sharing creativity with others.

🌟 Take-Home Treasures: Campers will leave their in-progress projects each day, and the week culminates in many different completed projects they can take home and proudly wear! Campers will make ~5-8 one-of-a-kind tie dyed projects over the course of the week.

Each child should bring a nut-free packed lunch and snack as well as a water bottle every day of camp. All other necessary materials are provided, so your child just needs to bring their curiosity and enthusiasm. Please be mindful that classes may involve paint, glue, and other materials that could potentially stain, so dress your child accordingly.
