Emo Evening: In a Wendy’s Parking Lot Emo Embroidery

Apparently it’s 2026 and Wendy’s just dropped an emo album. And honestly? It absolutely slaps. It goes harder than it has any right to. But we are SO HERE FOR IT.

For November’s Emo Embroidery, we’re celebrating the brand-new Wendy’s emo album, created in collaboration with some seriously iconic names from the emo scene. Brittany drew her version of emo Wendy with the phrase that has become our whole personality: It was never a phase. Because nothing says “we survived the 2000s” quite emo music and… Wendy’s? 

So like the muted lights of a flickering Wendy’s sign in the middle of the night in a small town in Ohio, we are beckoning all the fast food loving elder emo’s to gather for a night of embroidery, emo music, and the kind of absurd millennial nostalgia that Makeshift was basically built for.

What You’ll Learn
We’ll walk you through the stitches and techniques needed to complete our exclusive Wendy’s-inspired embroidery design, including how to start and finish your thread, follow a pre-printed pattern, and use different embroidery stitches to add texture and detail.

Beginners are absolutely welcome! You don’t need any embroidery experience to join us.

Workshop Age Guidance:
Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!

Cancellation Policy:
For workshops booked on or after August 16, 2026, the following cancellation policy applies: If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
