In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’re combining felt, embroidery, beads, and ALL THE SEQUINS to create whimsical ornaments that feel like they could have been pulled straight out of a box of treasured vintage Christmas decorations.

And you’ll have tons of designs to choose from!

We’ll use our Sizzix machines to cut your felt into perfectly adorable ornament shapes, then teach you how to embellish them by hand with sequins, seed beads, embroidery, and all the tiny sparkly details your heart desires. ✨

Choose from retro ornament bulbs, elves, Santa, Christmas trees, snowflakes, nutcrackers, ugly sweaters, mittens, peace doves, and even more shapes, then make yours as classic, colorful, weird, sparkly, or over-the-top as you want.

There are no wrong answers here. More sequins is always an option.

What You’ll Learn
🤗This workshop is designed specifically for beginners, so you don’t need any previous sewing, embroidery, or beading experience!
✂️We’ll teach you how to use our Sizzix die-cutting machines to cut your felt shapes, then show you the basics of hand embellishment, including how to securely sew on sequins and seed beads, add embroidered details, layer different embellishments, and finish your ornament so it’s ready to hang.
✨It’s also a great introduction to several different handcraft techniques without committing to one big project!

Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!

Cancellation Policy:
For workshops booked on or after August 16, 2026, the following cancellation policy applies: If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
