What’s the story, Wishbone? 🥹

If you were a kid in the ’90s, there’s a very good chance a tiny Jack Russell terrier in elaborate costumes was partially responsible for your understanding of classic literature.

For one very nostalgic night, we’re going back to our after-school childhood era with a screening of the Wishbone documentary while we work on the only craft appropriate for the occasion:
Embroidering a handkerchief to catch all of our millennial tears.

Also, a handkerchief is the perfect millennial accessory because iT’s sO lEsS WaSteFuL aND wOn’T eND Up iN a LaNDfiLL!

Come settle in, stitch along, and relive the absolute magic of a little dog who convinced an entire generation that The Odyssey was actually pretty cool.

What You’ll Learn
🤧While we watch the documentary, we’ll show you how to personalize a classic handkerchief with hand embroidery.
🪡You’ll learn a selection of beginner-friendly stitches and techniques for adding decorative details to fabric, including how to start and finish your thread and create clean stitches on a lightweight material.
🥹This is designed to be a relaxed, stitch-while-you-watch project, so beginners are absolutely welcome. No embroidery experience necessary!

Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!

Cancellation Policy:
For workshops booked on or after August 16, 2026, the following cancellation policy applies: If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
