Big mouth, bigger can. 🐟🥤✨
In this delightfully ridiculous crochet workshop, we'll be creating a fish-shaped drink koozie where the can slides right into the fish's mouth, making it look like your beverage is being dramatically swallowed whole. As if that wasn't enough, we'll also crochet fins, tails, and other fishy details to bring your aquatic friend to life.
This project is equal parts practical, adorable, and guaranteed to become a conversation starter at cookouts, camping trips, beach days, lake weekends, and Shark Week celebrations.
Each participant will receive a skein of Rico Rumi Spin Spin DK 100% cotton yarn in their choice of three fish-inspired colorways. Feeling a little more predatory? One of the color options is a shark-grey palette that can easily be customized into a shark koozie instead. 🦈
This workshop is best suited for crocheters who are comfortable with basic crochet stitches and ready to build on their skills with shaping and assembly techniques.
Perfect for:
🐟 fish enthusiasts
🦈 Shark Week fanatics
🏕️ campers and lake-goers
🥤 people who believe koozies should have personalities
✨ anyone who enjoys projects that make strangers ask questions
Participants will learn:
🧶 Crochet shaping techniques for three-dimensional projects
🐟 How to create and attach fins, tails, and decorative details
✨ Construction and assembly techniques for wearable crochet objects
🪡 Finishing and weaving-in methods for polished projects
🦈 Ways to customize your fish into different species and colorways
Your registration includes:
🧶 One skein of Rico Rumi Spin Spin DK 100% cotton yarn
