We’re kicking off our brand new elevated felt embroidery workshops with a project that is equal parts retro, colorful, and absurdly cool: a rainbow felt mirror ball embroidery piece inspired by the shimmer and movement of a classic disco ball.
In this workshop, we’ll combine embroidery, appliqué, and precision felt cutting techniques to build a layered felt artwork full of texture, dimension, and color play. Using our brand new felt cutting machines and steel die cutters, you’ll customize your own disco ball with colorful palettes, unique layouts, and playful design variations before stitching the individual felt “tiles” onto a solid felt background.
The result feels somewhere between fiber art, graphic design, and maximalist wall decor 💖
This workshop is intended for experienced embroiderers comfortable with detailed stitching and precision placement. Because of the time spent using the felt cutting machines, the layered construction, and advanced finishing techniques, previous embroidery experience is strongly recommended.

Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.
