I don't want to make you feel old but... IT'S THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF GILMORE GIRLS!
For the FIRST workshop of our FIRST ever annual Gilmore Girls Day, we are taking it back to the year 2000. Technology was just starting to leak into every day life, but one man stood up against the machine. One man knew the importance of preserving the sanctity of a tech free environment. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear flannel. I am talking about Luke Danes!Â
He was known for his hatred of change, his soft spot for the Gilmore Girls, and his firm stance on NO CELL PHONES in the diner.Â
In my older age, I have come to appreciate the "No Cell Phone" philosophy more and more, and so our first ever Gilmore Girls workshop at Makeshift Crafts will be cross stitching your very own "No Cell Phone" sign to hang in your personal kitchen as a nod to your love of the show and a reminder to not doom scroll so much...Â
In this workshop, we will provide a pre-stretched aida cloth on a framed canvas with a counted pattern and all the embroidery thread you will need to complete your project all while watching our all day marathon of the best of the best Gilmore Girls episodes! Bring your coffee, friends, and get ready for the coziest day EVER!Â
Please note this is an intermediate class, not a beginner cross stitch class. You will need to know how to cross stitch prior to taking this workshop. If you don't know how yet, check out our Cross Stitch for Beginners Class!Â
Check out our other Gilmore Girls Day Crafts too!Â
