December is busy enough without adding another unfinished craft project to your pile. So what if you could spend one festive afternoon trying three different crafts, finish ALL THREE projects, and maybe even cross a few people off your holiday shopping list along the way?!

Join Makeshift Crafts, The Quilt Store, and Planks & Paint DIY Workshop and Gift Boutique on Saturday, December 5th, for our Holiday Ornament Craft Crawl! We're teaming up once again with our fellow local, women-owned creative businesses to bring you a holiday crafting adventure filled with creativity, community, and a whole lot of handmade holiday magic.

Over the course of four hours, you'll visit all three shops, learn three completely different crafting techniques, and create three unique handmade ornaments to take home and hang on your tree or wrap up as thoughtful, handmade gifts!

And the best part? Every single project is designed to be completed during your visit. No homework, no unfinished projects following you into January, and no adding to that ever-growing WIP pile. Just three fun, satisfying little bursts of crafty dopamine!

🪡 Makeshift Crafts: Felt Ugly Sweater Ornament

We love a big, ambitious holiday craft project as much as anyone, but December isn't exactly known for having an abundance of free time. Sometimes you just want to make something cute, feel accomplished, and enjoy a little creative break from the holiday chaos.

That's exactly what this crawl is all about!

✨ Three crafts, three finished projects. Every ornament is beginner-friendly and designed to be finished in a single workshop. Instant gratification? 👏 We love her!!

🎁 Handmade gifts without the holiday stress. Keep all three ornaments for your own tree, gift them to three special people, or mix and match! There's something extra special about giving a gift you made yourself.

🛍️ Holiday shopping, but make it FUN. While you're visiting each shop, you'll also have the opportunity to browse their unique selection of gifts, creative supplies, and handmade goodies. Three locally owned businesses full of thoughtful gift ideas? That's a whole lot better than wandering around a crowded mall!

🧠 A little holiday crafting dopamine. Consider this your permission slip to take a break from the shopping lists, wrapping paper, and endless holiday to-dos. Spend a few hours making things with your hands, learning something new, and enjoying the company of other creative people.

🎁 Choose Your Craft Crawl Session:

• Morning Crawl: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Afternoon Crawl: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Each session will be divided into three smaller groups, with everyone rotating through all three businesses. After registering, you'll receive your starting location and the order in which you'll visit each shop.

**Please leave a note at check out if you are signing up with a specific group of people so we can include you all in the same rotation!**

All three businesses are located within just a couple of miles of one another, making it easy to hop from one festive stop to the next!

⏰ Two sessions: 9 AM–1 PM or 2:30 PM–6:30 PM

💰 $100 per person, including all three workshops, materials, and three handmade ornaments!

🎨 No experience necessary! All three projects are beginner-friendly, and each shop will guide you through the process.

🎄 All three ornaments can be completed during the crawl! No extra supplies, homework, or unfinished projects to take home.

Whether you're looking for a festive outing with friends, a creative break from the holiday shopping grind, or a way to make a few heartfelt gifts without committing to another month-long project, this is your chance to enjoy all the fun of holiday crafting without any of the pressure.

Workshop Age Guidance:
Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children. Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!

Cancellation Policy:
If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 3 days before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 3 days of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
