Celebrate the longest day of the year with flowers, creativity, tarot, and a little midsummer magic. 🌿☀️🌙✨
Last year for Litha, we made flower crowns together during our very first summer as a business. 🥹 Now that Makeshift is officially one year old, we’re turning it into a tradition, this time with an extra magical evening gathering for our grown-up community!
In this special 6pm Litha workshop, we’ll create custom felt flower crowns inspired by wildflowers, folklore, renaissance fairs, woodland spirits, and soft midsummer energy. Using our felt cutting machine, steel die cutters, and a huge assortment of colorful felt, you’ll design a completely one-of-a-kind crown that feels perfectly you.
Participants will choose from a variety of floral and leaf shapes, customize their color palettes, and learn how to attach felt flowers onto floral wire before finishing the crown with flowing ribbons for the ultimate whimsical midsummer look. 🌸
But this evening gathering also includes a special Litha experience led by our house witch, Cosmic Spider, who will guide us through:
🌞 the history and symbolism of Litha and the summer solstice
🌿 themes of abundance, creativity, transformation, and balance
✨ a special midsummer tarot spread and reflection ritual
Participants should bring their own tarot deck for the guided reading portion of the evening. 💖

This 6pm session is intended for participants ages 14+.

Come make something magical, meaningful, and worthy of dancing barefoot around a bonfire in. 🌙 The sun will be setting as the workshop is over so we can go outside and howl at the setting sun like the feral, crafty, witchy people we are!! 🐺
