In this workshop, you'll design and assemble your own layered felt patch from a HUGE assortment of shapes and designs. We're talking Dala horses, ghosts, pumpkins, mystical moths, unicorns, florals, stars, hearts, animals, and so. many. more. You can even make a patch with your initials or name! 🐎 🦄 🌸 🎃 

Pick a design exactly as it is. Mix and match pieces. Change the colors. Layer different shapes together. Give something a weird little face. Make it cute. Make it spooky. Make it look like it belongs on the jacket of a badass woodland witch.

We'll show you how to use our Sizzix machines and steel-rule dies to perfectly cut your felt pieces, then you'll layer and assemble your design before adding iron-on interfacing to the back that transforms your tiny felt creation into an actual patch!

Take it home and add it to a denim jacket, tote bag, backpack, project bag, costume, hat, or whatever else in your life is currently suffering from an unacceptable lack of whimsey.

And because you're creating every element yourself, from the design and colors to the layers and details, no two patches have to look the same!

That's basically what we're doing.

You'll dig through our wide collection of designs, choose your colors, start experimenting with layers, and inevitably spend twenty minutes debating whether your mystical moth needs a tiny flower or whether your ghost would look better in pink.

There are Dala horses. There are pumpkins. There are moths. There are unicorns. There are approximately one billion possibilities and a room full of people ready to help each other out with the inevitable decision fatigue that is bound to arise!

Workshop Age Guidance:
Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!

Cancellation Policy:
For workshops booked on or after August 16, 2026, the following cancellation policy applies: If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
