So obviously, we're celebrating the most important holiday on the October calendar with a Mean Girls Bead Soup + Movie Night. 💁‍♀️

Come spend the evening at Makeshift watching Mean Girls, digging through bowls of beads, charms, letters, and tiny treasures, and making whatever gloriously pink, nostalgic, fetch little creation your heart desires.

We'll have our giant Bead Soup Bar filled with a giant assortment of beads for you to mix, match, and turn into a custom beaded design on a mini-embroidery hoop while we watch the movie together. No previous beading experience is necessary! Guidance and instruction will be provided. 

Want to spell out SO FETCH in alphabet beads? Please do. Because you are.

Need a decoration that says GET IN LOSER that you hang by your car keys at home? Obviously.

Feel emotionally compelled to make something pink because it's October 3rd and rules no longer matter? You're among friends. It’s not a Wednesday, but we don’t care.

This isn't a traditional follow-along workshop where everyone leaves with the same project. We'll show you the basics, help you figure out how to construct your mini-embroidery hoop, and then turn you loose on the bead soup.

It's like a sleepover with the Plastics, except nobody is making you wear pink, there are crafts, and our Burn Book is probably just full of unfinished WIPs. 💕📖

We'll have Mean Girls playing, beads scattered across the tables, plenty of movie quoting, extremely serious discussions about whether butter is a carb, and a room full of people making tiny ridiculous things simply because they can.

Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Cancellation Policy:
For workshops booked on or after August 16, 2026, the following cancellation policy applies: If you’re unable to attend a workshop, you may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled workshop time to receive a 50% refund of your workshop payment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are not eligible for a refund. Please note that materials or kits from the class cannot be provided to participants who are unable to attend.
