Members Only "Sh*thead" Cross Stitched Trinket Box

Once upon a time the owner of Makeshift Crafts asked some of the members for ideas about what name they could call themselves. Makeshifters? Craft Clubbers? Something else? This was either a mistake or a stroke of genius. Because what did they come up with?

Now we are celebrating all Shitheads with our craft obsession of the summer, the Makeshift cross stitch trinket box!

This workshop includes:
🟪 a limited-edition rectangle shaped trinket box in a metallic purple color you won't ever find for sale anywhere at the store (we are going to keep this thing special for the Shitheads.)
🖕 embedded in the bottom of the box is our beloved Shithead logo, so there's no question where your loyalty lies
📜 workshop-only cross-stitch designs representing the proud Shithead brand and a lot of laughter about how we all ended up in this cult

We will be stitching directly onto the perforated lid of a 3D printed trinket box to create a functional little storage piece that is equal parts adorable and practical. The lid of each approximately 3"x6" box is designed with tiny holes that create the perfect canvas for cross stitch.

These BIGGER boxes are PERFECT for storing:
🧵 needles, threaders, and stitch markers
✨ jewelry and rings
🌈 tiny keepsakes and trinkets
🎲 dice, pins, or mini collectibles
🃏 tarot cards or playing cards

This workshop is designed for cross stitchers who are comfortable reading patterns and ready to start stitching on non-traditional surfaces. Because of the smaller scale and rigid stitching surface, some previous cross stitch experience is highly recommended.

Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!
