Using basic sewing techniques, we'll fold and stitch the pouch to create an elastic-bound journal system, allowing you to easily swap inserts whenever one notebook fills up.

But that's just the beginning.

We'll also reinforce the zippered compartment by inserting a sturdy backing and dividing it into four organized pockets! Perfect for storing pens, stickers, receipts, washi tape, small notions, and, perhaps most importantly, Makeshift cross stitch patterns, which just so happen to fit perfectly. 😉

To finish your organizer, you'll create a personalized beaded zipper charm that adds both personality and an easy-to-grab zipper pull.

Finally, it's time to make it yours! Bring your favorite stickers, patches, labels, stamps, or other paper ephemera to decorate the outside and create a journal cover that's completely unique.
