TOP SECRET!! EXCERPT FROM DRAFT SCRIPT

SCHITT’S CREEK SEASON 2 EPISODE 2: FAMILY CRAFT

Moira: This craft is simple, you just embroider an apron.

David: What does that mean? What does ‘embroider’ mean?

Moira: You embroider it.

David: I understand that, but how? How do you embroider it? Do you embroider it in half like a piece of paper and drop it in the wash, or what do you do?"

Moira: I cannot show you everything.

David: Okay well can you show me one thing?

Moira: Here’s what you do. You just embroider it.

- CUT -

Yes this is a VERY REAL excerpt from a draft script from the famous television show Schitt’s Creek. Don’t ask how we got it. Stop acting like a disgruntled pelican.

Even though the writers decided to go with cooking enchiladas instead of doing embroidery, the lesson is the same: Moira Rose is not exactly a natural teacher, and she definitely does not know embroidery or how to cook.

The good news is that taking a workshop at Makeshift Crafts includes far better hands-on instruction! In this workshop we will show you basic embroidery stitches and tips, then we will stitch together and watch the famous “fold in the cheese” episode of the show. We will provide the apron and all necessary supplies, but it is BYOW (bring your own wig) if you choose to mimic Moira’s iconic looks.

Don’t worry beh-beh, this workshop is beginner friendly. Embroidery is simple after all.

I don't know how to be any clearer!
