Wheel of the Year Alter Talisman & Lughnasadh Tarot Reading

We are celebrating Lughnasadh, the festival marking the start of the harvest season, with an evening of crafting, reflection, and tarot to honor abundance, nourishment, and the work that brings our dreams to fruition.

This is the first workshop in our new Wheel of the Year Felt Alter Talisman series, where we will celebrate the traditions of eight seasonal festivals by creating an original felt tarot-inspired altar card. We encourage you to attend throughout the year to build a beautiful handmade collection that honors the changing seasons one celebration at a time.

Our card for this month is “The Bread”, which represents the grains and bounty of the season. You will get to create a one-of-a-kind talisman using our felt cutting machines, steel die cutters, and a collection of felt shapes. The colors, embellishments, and design are all up to you! Take this opportunity to represent the harvest season in whatever way is meaningful to you.

After our crafting session, we will be joined by our house witch, Cosmic Spider, who will guide us through the history, symbolism, and traditions of Lughnasadh before leading a special harvest-themed tarot reading focused on gratitude, abundance, and recognizing the seeds you have been cultivating this year.

Whether you celebrate the Wheel of the Year, or simply enjoy marking the changing seasons with meaningful creativity, this evening offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and welcome the gifts of late summer.

Our workshops are designed to be a welcoming and inclusive creative space for all. Please note that workshops are intended for participants ages 14 and up, with instruction, pacing, and materials geared toward teens and adults rather than young children.

Workshops that are appropriate for younger participants will be clearly labeled as family-friendly or “Grown-Up & Me” activities. Thank you for your understanding!
